Kristin Chamberlain, Director

B.A. in Child Development

M.A. in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Child Studies and Marriage and Family Therapy

Kristin has always been passionate in her work with young children, which began in 2006. Born and raised in Hawai'i, Kristin moved to California in 2008 to pursue a career with young children. She was eager to employ many of the values she was taught having been raised in an environment that emphasizes the importance of interpersonal relationships, how to cherish and respect one's natural environment, and ways in which individuals can use community resources to enhance daily life.

Since moving to California, Kristin has obtained her bachelor's degree in Child Development, and her master's degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in child studies and marriage and family therapy. While obtaining her degrees, Kristin has worked in various settings with young children and families. These settings include, as a nanny, as a child care provider in a daycare, as a preschool teacher, as an assistant director, and in clinical settings, providing therapy to young children and families.

In 2019, Kristin enthusiastically combined her knowledge, experience, and education and opened Footsteps.
